These terms govern your use of the Otavo recruitment platform, whether you're a candidate applying to roles or a company hiring through Otavo. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.

Using Otavo

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, applying to roles, or registering a company to hire. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

For candidates

• Applications, resumes, and interview responses you submit may be shared with hiring companies.
• Screening — including AI-assisted screening — is used to assess fit for roles and does not guarantee an interview or offer with any company.
• You can withdraw an application at any time by contacting us.

For companies

• Job listings and company information you submit must be accurate and must represent a genuine open role.
• Candidate information shared with you through the platform may only be used for evaluating that candidate for the role(s) they applied to or were matched with, and must be handled in line with applicable data protection law.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the platform — including attempting to access accounts or data that aren't yours, submitting false information, or using the platform for anything unlawful.

Disclaimers

Otavo helps connect candidates and companies but does not guarantee employment outcomes, offer terms, or hiring decisions, which remain the responsibility of the hiring company.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
